Spot On Trades helps homeowners find information about plumbing and heating businesses. It is a directory and marketing service. Spot On Trades does not carry out the work and is not a party to the contract.
Profile information and checks
Check labels describe specific information reviewed at a point in time. They are not a guarantee or promise that no problem will occur.
Homeowner responsibilities
- Choose which business to contact and appoint
- Verify registrations where required
- Agree scope, price, timing and payment terms in writing
- Keep quotations, invoices, messages and payment records
Trade-business responsibilities
Listed businesses must provide accurate information, valid evidence where requested and prompt notice of changes to contact details, insurance, registrations, services or trading status.
Search order
Matching profiles are ordered by geographical distance from the customer location. The amount paid, business size and public review score do not improve search position.
No guarantee of enquiries or jobs
A listing provides an opportunity to be found. Spot On Trades does not guarantee enquiry volume, conversion, revenue or a particular commercial result.
Annual profile fee and free leads
There is no fee to submit an initial application. Any standalone profile fee is agreed before publication and covers a 12-month profile spot. Spot On Trades does not charge for each call, email, enquiry or job generated through the profile.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, scrape profiles at scale, submit false enquiries, impersonate another person or business, attempt unauthorised access, or use directory information for unlawful unsolicited marketing.
Availability and liability
Reasonable care is taken to keep the website useful and accurate, but uninterrupted availability is not promised. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
